1. Community Guidelines & Expectations
1.1 Behavior & Conduct
- Zero tolerance for discrimination, harassment, or bullying
- No racist remarks, bigotry, or offensive behavior
- No political/religious discussions or flags
- No deception towards staff or falsifying evidence
- Explicit content = 1 warning → 1-year ban (applies to voice/media)
1.2 Advertisement Policy
- Promoting other communities = permanent ban (in-game + Discord or Website)
1.3 Exploits & Unauthorized Software
- No exploits, macros, or third-party advantages
- Includes auto-clickers, movement macros, console abuse
1.4 Alternative Accounts
- No alts to evade punishment/gain advantage
- Punishment: Alt permaban + main account eco-wipe
1.5 Real-world Transactions
- No trading in-game items/currency/VIP for real money
- Exception: AstroRP store items for in-game currency allowed
1.6 Language Requirement
- English only in OOC, voice chat, and Discord
1.7 Staff Authority
- Staff decisions are final (appeal through the discord or website)
- No backseat moderating
1.8 Refund Policy
- Case-by-case by Admin+
- No refunds for client crashes
- Server-wide issues may qualify
2. General Gameplay Rules
2.1 Random Deathmatch (RDM)
- No unprovoked kills
- Valid reasons:
- Raiding (with advert)
- KOS signs (max 3 justified reasons)
- Terrorism ads
- Witnessing pickpocketing
- Crossfire/misclicks not exempt
2.2 New Life Rule (NLR)
- Forget: Attackers, death location, circumstances
- Remember: Friends, residence, occupation, finances
- 3-minute delay before returning
- Exceptions:
- Public street deaths
- Sewer Dwellers: No NLR in sewers
- Oil Refiners: No NLR in mining areas
- Terror Attacks: May return immediately
2.3 Roleplay Realism
- Act according to job roles (e.g., Gun Dealers sell guns)
- No job-switching mid-RP to avoid consequences
- Custom Class models don't override roles
2.4 Spawn Area
- Safe zone - no RP interactions
- Extends past both large tunnels and fountain tunnel
- No entities (gun shelves, casino machines, etc.)
2.5 Prop Usage
- No prop climbing, blocking, or unfair advantages
2.6 Personal Entities
- No selling/donating VIP printers/bots
- All entities must be raid-accessible
2.7 Law Enforcement
- No weapon checks on private property without warrant
- Public checks allowed for law violations
- Checkpoints: Near PD only, 2-turn max, 2-player width
2.8 Fear RP
- Must comply when at disadvantage
- Exceptions:
- Friends outnumber attacker
- Already holding weapon pre-event
- Shot fired/damage taken
2.9 Mayor & Laws
- Laws must be reasonable and not contradict perma-laws
- No impossible laws (e.g., outlaw walking)
- Weapon laws don't apply on private property
- Lockdowns: 10-minute max, valid RP reason required
2.10 Scamming
- Intentional trade fraud = trade/server ban
- No hidden weapon shelf prices (eco-wipe + blacklist)
2.11 Stealing
- Must advert "Steal" with valid RP reason
- Must witness carried items (meth/weed) first
2.12 Mayor Immunity
- New Mayors: 5-minute raid/assassination immunity
- If raid in progress: Immune for duration, can't participate
3. Property/Building Rules
3.1 Building & KOS Signs
- Max 3 KOS signs with identical justified reasons
- Must be visible, font size 50+, legible color
- No targeting specific players/groups
- No impacting others' RP experience
3.2 Keypad Fading Doors
- Max 3 keypad-controlled doors per base
- 0-second delay, must open immediately
- No hidden keypads
3.3 Shooting Windows
- Minimum size: 0.75x0.75x0.75 cube
- Both parties must be visible when firing
- World-Glow allowed but must show both parties
3.4 Location
- No basing in spawn tunnels
- Hobos may build small sidewalk/fountain areas (15 props max)
- Rooftops: Must have ground owner's permission
3.5 Accessibility
- Must be accessible on foot without special actions
- Max 5 turns to enter base
- No disorienting bases or invisible props
3.6 Raiding/Defense
- Both parties must be visible during raids
- No base edits/explosives for defenders during raid
- No shooting through map geometry
3.7 Police Department
- Lobby must remain public
- Mayor regulates access to defenses
3.8 Bank
- Only printers allowed in vault
- Banker/Guards must be on all keypads
- Government may enter during security breaches
3.9 AFK Restrictions
- Banker/Guards, Mayor, CP, Casino Manager, Crypto Miner
- Must have active entities if AFK
3.10 Megabase
- Requires 6+ party members
- Admin+ approval for multi-building bases
- Max 3 buildings per megabase
- Must state "megabase" on KOS signs
4. Roleplay Events
4.1 Advert Usage
- Required for: Raids, mugs, steals, kidnaps, warnings, carjackings
- Default yellow color, no effects
- Government must advert warrants/searches
4.2 Player Warnings
- Two warnings required (5-second gap)
- Police/Government exempt from advert requirement
4.3 Raiding Rules
- 20-minute cooldown for raiding the same person
- 5-minute cooldown for raiding anyone else
- 10-minute time limit inside the base(15 for megabases)
- Destroying cameras initiates raid
4.3.1 Countering Rules
- Anyone can counter any raid as long as they advert it
4.4 Mugging
- Max $30K demand
- 10-second compliance time
- 5-minute general cooldown, 15-minute same person
4.5 PD & Bank Raids
- Must interact with NPC to initiate
- 15-minute cooldown
- Must actively attempt objective
- You have ten minutes from starting to complete the raid
4.6 Terror Attacks
- Once per 20 minutes
- Must advert outside target area
- Taliban must raid PD with Osama
- Max 10-second duration
4.7 Capture Points
- PvP only in red zones
- No returning to same fight after death
- No props/exploits to block captures
5. The Purge
5.1 Purge Rules
- RDM allowed, no adverts required
- NLR does not apply
5.2 Government Actions
- May participate but cannot enforce laws
- No arrests or tasers
6. Job Rules
6.1 Hobos & Hobo King
- Cannot own property
- Firearms for self-defense only
- During lockdown: Must return to begging area
6.2 Sewer Mutants
- KOS to all players above ground
- Cannot leave sewers except during Purge
6.3 Police & Government
- Must follow orders from superiors
- Prioritize arrests over lethal force
- Cannot randomly unarrest players
6.4 Disguises
- No disguising as Government to raid PD/bank
7. Vehicle Rules
7.1 Vehicle Deathmatch(VDM)
- Do NOT harm anyone using your vehicle
- Exceptions:
- There is an immediate threat on your life.
- Do not intentionally ram other players/players vehicles
7.2 Carjacking
- Thiefs must advert carjack BEFORE they steal someones car
- 10 Minute cooldown on carjacking
- 20 Minute cooldown against the same victim
8. Custom Class Rules
8.1 Models
- Must be humanoid
- No animals/creatures or NSFW content
- Cannot resemble Government jobs
8.2 3-Strike System
- 3 strikes = class disabled
- Appeal through the website or discord
8.3 Trading
- CC slots may be traded for in-game items
- Must comply with all server rules
- All CC members must agree to changes
